Performance and development: The evaluation of the performance of Millennium bank's employees takes place once a year. The policy followed is based on specific performance criteria, defined and agreed between each employee and his or her supervisor, as well as on the observation and assessment of the employee’s performance regarding his or her job, for the time period immediately preceding the evaluation process. The process also includes documentation of the results and of the employees’ feedback. The scope of the evaluation is not limited to the result of the work and the achievement of the objectives; it extends to the employees’ professional conduct, their knowledge and their willingness for further improvement, as well as their other skills. The results of the evaluation are studied by all levels of the Bank’s hierarchy, during the “Millenniumbankers Career Days”; meetings where the Members of the Board and the competent Department Managers take part in, to discuss the evaluation of the employees with the objective of:
• identifying any weaknesses, needs for training, possibilities for further development and growth,
• studying further action to be taken on behalf of the Company, in order to encourage and motivate the employees.
During these meetings different decisions are made related to rotations, transfers, promotions, progressions and other ways of “rewarding” employee’s excellent performance. Decisions are also made relating to different ways of improvement for employees with objective the better attribution of employees and the whole organization in general.
Job Rotation: For the purpose of constant training and self-fulfilment of our employees and in order to provide them with the necessary knowledge to successfully face the competitive challenges, the Bank undertakes to rotate the duties of the employees at regular intervals, and according to its needs. The particular policy is “embraced” by new employees, as they quickly find out that the Bank offers them the opportunities and the means to become accomplished professionals.
