Millennium bank’s Human Capital is responsible for its fast, successful and creative evolution. Our people, showing professionalism, creativity, team spirit and high moral standards, managed to make Millennium bank’s vision a reality. Most importantly, they managed to differentiate the Bank as the most dynamic and innovative presence in the banking sector and as one of the best work environments, despite the intensely competitive environment it operates in.

Our distinctions prove this: Millennium bank won the third place in the “Best Work Places 2009” contest, being distinguished as the 1st bank and the 3rd among the Greek companies with over 250 employees. In March 2003, Millennium bank won exactly the same place in the contest, being distinguished as one of the Greek companies with the best work environment, while it has also been declared as one of the 100 best European companies in the “EU Best Workplaces 2003” contest.  The Best Workplaces contest evaluates significant factors that exist in distinguished workplaces, like employee’s trust to the bank’s management; the feeling of justice, the pride the employee feels for his/her work and the company, as well as the fellow feeling among associates.

The Human Resources Department’s aim is to support and develop Millennium bank’s employees, as they are the most precious asset of the Organization, enabling them to thrive in the demanding banking environment, by implementing efficient and meritocratic processes and by offering high quality professional training.

Millennium bank’s employees are young (the average age is only 34 years) (Employees Age Distribution). They are creative, knowledgeable and experienced enough to offer high-quality and innovative services to the Bank’s customers.
