• September 21, 2000: The bank starts its operations, as NovaBank, with a network of 45  branches on the same day

• March 2003: Award of the third prize in the "Champions: Companies Worth Working for" contest, as one of the Greek companies with the best working environment

• May 2003: Start of operations of Business Banking

• May 2003: inclusion in the list of the "100 European Best Workplaces"

• July 2003: Start of operations of BankEuropa,
NovaBank’s affiliate in Turkey

• January 2005: The bank enters profitability
 
• January 2005: 100% acquisition of shares by the Millennium group

October 2005: Start of operations of Corporate & Investment Banking

• December 2005: A network of 122 branches all over Greece (102 retail branches, 17 Business Banking Units)

• January 2006: 2005 earnings release announces recurring earnings before taxes well ahead of initial plans and total net income, including non-recurring impacts of € 16.9 million

• November 2006: The bank announces its full integration with the Millennium group and its new name – Millennium bank

• November – December 2006: Unification of network under the Millennium bank brand “look & feel”

• February 2007: 2006 earnings release announces record-high volumes and 15.1 million euros earnings (after taxes)  

January 2008: 2007 earnings release announces 22.1 million euros earnings (after taxes) reaching a 46% increase from 2006

February 2009: Millennium bank announces 15.1 million euros earnings in 2008 (after taxes) and a very healthy portfolio
